JackBaruth Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 That's two H-357s, of course. From a quickie shoot today.
Spectrum13 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 I would have a problem with that.... which one gets picked up first?
MartyGrass Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Nice guitars. What kind of stands do you use? They look sturdy.
tulk1 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 LOL!! Well, I had to look. Thought we had discovered a new model. Thats a darned nice set of guitars right there!
JackBaruth Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 Nice guitars. What kind of stands do you use? They look sturdy. Hercules 414: http://www.amazon.com/Hercules-GS414B-G-Guitar-Stand/dp/B000EEHKVY And supposedly they are inert so you can leave nitro-finish guitars in them for a while.
koula901 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Well now the pic is entitled "Birds and more" - is one of them a pic of HFB's 357, and the other one yours?
DetroitBlues Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Those are amazing guitars. Jack, you're a lucky fellow to be surrounded by such good company.
JackBaruth Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 Well now the pic is entitled "Birds and more" - is one of them a pic of HFB's 357, and the other one yours? That was just the name I put on them when they got imported, because there were other guitars on that "roll of film" so to speak. Both of those 357s are mine. HFB rolls a little more deluxe than I do, he has block inlays on his mahogany 357.
kbp810 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Thats a real nice looking pair of Birds ya got there Jack!
Guest HRB853370 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 That's two H-357s, of course. From a quickie shoot today. How'd you get Bird to loan you his 357 Jack?
JackBaruth Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 How'd you get Bird to loan you his 357 Jack? Look up three posts
MartyGrass Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 My first real guitar was a Firebird. I got it from a friend when I was 12. It seemed huge and heavy. Plus it had Gibson flatwounds 13-56s. Ouch! Anyway, how much do these birds weigh?
zookroo1 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 That's quite a pair! They compliment each other well!
mark555 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 fabulous pictures of two fabulous guitars - more stuff to dream about.......
JackBaruth Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 I think it goes without saying that anyone who finds themselves in central Ohio should feel free to come play them, right?
DetroitBlues Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Road Trip! I'm in! I'd like to see how those bad boys play through the KBP810 Rocket!
DLDTEX Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Very nice collection. I hope to get one soon. Like the subtle math usage. Enjoy them
DLDTEX Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I quess the burning question is and tit it was mention before is which one does get picked up first? The second is besides the wood and fretboard inlays is there any difference in weight or electronics? Wish I lived in Ohio
