GuitArtMan Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I don't think Taylor does. And much like PRS, they are some CNC-using dudes who build a terrific instrument. Sorry dude, I've taken the Taylor tour - they are highly automated wherever they can be.
PacerX Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Sorry dude, I've taken the Taylor tour - they are highly automated wherever they can be. I think you missed the point... The question was asked as to whether or not ALL manufacturers have a low cost line built overseas. Taylor is one that I don't believe does.

JohnCovach Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 There's a post over on The Gear Page that says the folks at Wolfe heard from Heritage earlier this week that production would begin by the end of this week. If that's right, you'd have to think that some kind of press release about the sale of the company is coming soon as well. Whether or not the Heritage guys are eager to inform the public about the status of the company, it seems logical that the new owner(s) would have a strong interest in getting the word out that things are back on track.
PacerX Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Doh! Sorry, I think I need glasses! ;D No problemo - I rest confident in the knowledge that your ears and fingers work just fine!
deluxemeat Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 my prediction is that the heritage i ordered last summer will be finished. someday.
