bolero Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 hey, that's cool! have you ever thought of offering a fender style tube reverb unit? those seem to be popular, might be a good product to introduce
bolero Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 forget it, I'm an idiot...there is one on there!
barrymclark Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 That is just so cool seeing the amp Brian and I designed with a coming soon thing next to it!

barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 When I get the Starlite combo and matching Starlite ext cab, I'll do a demo vid on YouTube. I'll have to get a GT Cable to keep the video all HOC!
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Future home of something very cool indeed. http://www.kbpamplification.com/ Who built the site?
GASguy Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Could you post the amp descriptions here on the HOC for fellow members? I like to start my Christmas shopping early.
barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Who built the site? I assume Brian but I honestly have no idea. I think he just threw something up to have something up.
barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Could you post the amp descriptions here on the HOC for fellow members? I like to start my Christmas shopping early. The Starlite's a surprise!
GASguy Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Sorry for the multiple post. My bad. Amp excitment got the best of me.
barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Sorry for the multiple post. My bad. Amp excitment got the best of me. you won't believe the Starlite. It will be well worth the wait.
barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 I think DetroitBlues has been let in on what the Starlite is.
kbp810 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I threw the site together myself... but it was done rather quickly and on the spot; still needs a lot of work! I'll get descriptions up on the site soon, meanwhile here's a quick breakdown: The "Reverb Deluxe" I build in two variations; #1 is a low plate version that as a whole has an earlier and sort of more bluesy breakup to it. #2 the Vibrato/Reverb channel is stock Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb, while the normal channel side is hotter and adds a nice touch of preamp distortion. Both are 2x6V6, 4 12ax7'ss and 2 12at7's; #1 uses 5v4/GZ32 rectifer and is around 18 watts; #2 uses 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier and is around 22 watts. The RR30 is modeled after the TW Rocket with the addition of built in Spring Reverb, it's a 4xEL84 amp with great shimmering clean tones Overdrive special is essentially a clone of a D*style ODS amp, in either 6L6 or EL34 versions, with a few available possible variations. The Starlite is still being protoyped, it's been a joint design venture that me and Barrymclark have been working on... I anticipate it will be quite the spectacular looking and sounding amplifier I build to order, so head/cab, speaker size/type, cab style can all be custom specified.
barrymclark Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 I'm glad you dig the logo, Brian. By the way, I got that logo worked into the Starlite cabinet design.
