Gig Bag for a H550

Hello everybody. I've just bought a H550, and I am looking for a gig bag for it, because the hard case is too heavy to be carried in the day by day. I didn't find a gig bag witch fits this guitar model. Does anyone know about any gig bag model that fits this guitar? Thank you very much!

I'd measure the guitar's dimensions, and check them against the dimensions for bags designed for L-5's or jumbo acoustics (not super jumbo =18" or small jumbo =16"). I doubt you will find a bag specifically made for the 550, but it is a 17"/25.5 scale archtop and I think you can find bags made for guitars in this range. The Heritage is a tad smaller than an L-5, but that shouldn't be a major concern for a gig bag, I wouldn't think.

I think Vince Lewis carries his hollow in a gig bag. Or maybe it was a gig bag for his case, not sure. Just know it was very very shiny!! And wasn't a hard box. He's very approachable, you could ask him.

It's a cool idea, a gig bag for the 555, or in my case, a 535. Have thought about it but fear smashing the guitar somewhere by bumping it and hurting the headstock. This may be an irrational fear, but I'd like to be talked out of it -- how many people here use a gig bag for their Heritages?

Call me paranoid but I won't move my Heritages or Gibsons between upstairs and downstairs if they aren't in the case. And my guitars have been around the block once or twice. I can't imagine what I'd be like with a brand new one!

I wouldn't either. I only mentioned Vince because I thought I'd seen him with one. The more I think about it the more I'm certain is was a temperature control bag for his case. But for me, unless it was a double built Reunion Blues style, of which I'd still be leery, I'd stick with the case .

I agree. gig bag for an archtop sounds like a bad idea
