JackBaruth Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I'm enjoying the re-necked Eagle I bought from MartyGrass so much that I'm pretty certain I will need to buy another one. Naturally it will have to be the most pimped-out abalone/mop/ebony/multiple binding/five-piece-flamed-neck beast possible. I can't figure out what the difference is between the Super Eagle and the Golden Eagle. It's hard to know which one I want more if I don't know why I would want it more Surely one of you Heritage ornithologists can tell me about this. As with my current Eagle, I would want a floating pickup. That top needs to RESONATE.
MartyGrass Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 To be safe, you need one of each. The Super Eagle is 18" across the lower bout compared to 17" in the Golden Eagle. The stem to stern distance is greater also, but I don't recall that.
