reif Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I may have an opportunity to go see and play this guitar. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110749545661?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 It's been up on ebay 4 times now. No bids at this price. What do you think it's worth? Thanks, David
brentrocks Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 push comes to shove.....i would try for $1500
yoslate Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Is there a "blue book" for guitars? For Heritages, Brent.... (Heh!)
SouthpawGuy Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 If the guitar was made in '09 that would make it a custom ordered Prospect wouldn't it ? As far as I'm aware the Blues Deluxe was an ER variant of the Prospect.

As far as I'm aware the Blues Deluxe was an ER variant of the Prospect. I think Southpaw is right. It may have the same specs as the ill-fated Ed Roman/Heritage 'Blues Deluxe', but they severed relations years ago and I think Mr Roman makes his own version of a 'blues deluxe'. He probably copyrighted the name. The bluebooks Ive read have scant info on Heritage guitars. In this economy 1500$ could make it roll.
tulk1 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I'm know I'm late to the show on this post. But wanted to add, I got my Custom Prospect with everything I could ever want on it for less than his starting bid. If you really want a Prospect, it can't hurt to price your own custom build.
SouthpawGuy Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 And fwiw the auction ended Sunday with zero bids.
reif Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 I saw/played the guitar saturday. Absolutly beautiful and in like new condition. Plays like butter. He would not go under 1900. I thought 15/1600. No deal. Oh well, the hunt continues.
