I made the final pmt for a new H build, today. Supposed to ship around Oct 8. It's one-of-a-kind, a full-hollow Prospect.

During psp4, I asked Vince whether such could be built. He said "ask Jim Duerloo."

I did and Mr. Duerloo said yes.

Chestnut sunburst, split-block inlays, Seth Lovers

Might be a long-ish 7 or so days until the brown truck pulls up . . .

Whoot! I can't wait to see the photos and hear a tone report, Larry! Congratulations!! Of course, who knows what you will end up with, my roomate, Millenium Maestro, kept feeding poor Jim beers that Friday night until he had to call his wife to come drive him home!! haha!

There's a lot of potential in such builds.

There is a noticeable difference in tone without a center block, partial or full, even in a small guitar. The Prospect is a comfortable size, too.

I stated well more than a year ago that the Prospect is probably the most underappreciated Heritage.

My fear about it is that the custom features would price it out of range of reach. If not, I'd order a pair, one with warmer woods and one with a Bigsby.

thankee! tracking info this a.m. indeed shows a friday delivery! i have a lunch gig i cannot get out of that day, otherwise, i'm gonna be home all day. our weather is starting to change; 80s yeserday, 70s today and tomorrow, low 60s on friday. i don't want the new baby chilling too long on the front porch in case i'm gone when fedex shows up (no sig required).

i'll post some pics very soon after i tear the box open!
