I purchased this heritage guitar. The serial number is P14904 . I guess it was built in 1999 but I don't know what model it is. It looks like a Les Paul. I paid $500. Wasn't really sure what it was worth. Here's a quick picture...John

hey, tracy. looks like h140 or h150. if it was made in '99, it would be a 150 since the early 140s had a sharper cutaway. welcome to the HOC!

You got a Deal!

Looks like a 157.

I thought it was a H157, because of the type of binding.

It's a 157, fretboard and HS binding, trap inlay above the first fret, and I can see the diamond on the headstock

That is an incredible deal for an incredible guitar!!!!

Agreed... add to that the gold hardware and wooden pickguard. It's the H157.

Tracyjm, the H157 is an upgraded H150, same as the LP Custom is an upgrade over the standard. Assuming no issues, you got a whale of a deal. Check the cavity cover on the back. It should have the model information and any upgrades, such as pickups. The picture doesn't show the mounting screws of the pickups. If there are two screws per side, the pickups will be Schaller. SD or others usually have one screw per side.

Here's my H157 with my Guild.

holy crap that is a crazy deal

it looks like a 157 black beauty to me, with the square inlays & the diamond plus binding on the headstock

if you unscrew the back plate it will probably have the model name as well as what pickups are in it
