Glad to see the Patriot made it in good shape. Mine sat at the Greenwood In GC for about 4 months before I went up and rescued it. I could have had them send it down to our local store, but I had never really dealt with GC before this.

What tubes does your amp have in it? I had GT 6L6s but switched them out to Sovteks. Had to swap out a bad JAN 12ax7 was well for an old EH that I had as well.

The Patriot has GT main tubes and E-H 12AX7s in it. I am simply blown away by the character, drive, and depth of this amp. I have more than a couple of amps and consider myself to be pretty jaded about tone, but the Patriot is simply fabulous.

That about says it all right there, folks!!

The Patriot is 45 watt through 2 6L6 (or EL34s). It uses 12AX7s All hand wired.

The EQ is a 3 band with a bright switch (some were switches, mine is a pull pot on the volume control). There is a 2 knob reverb with a "mood" control that adjusts the negative feedback in the amp.

I read somewhere that it is loosely based on the Fender Super Reverb but I don't have anything to support that. In terms of sonics, it goes from a tweed type of tone to a blackface SR type tone through the use of the mood control.

It's not a master volume amp, so you can't dial down the volume and overdrive the front end for OD.
