JeffB Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 do you know a bloke by the name of Clayton Austin? I know a couple of Claytons through work but only on 1st name basis. I can find out. Other than that I think theres about 1.8 million living in Perth metro area. Not huge by some standards but big enough to hide a few Claytons

SouthpawGuy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I'm finding it difficult to remember if I said welcome to all of the newer members so I'll say it again to make sure ;D [move]Welcome to one and all to the HOC !!! [/move]
GBOWL Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 HEY Im a newbee to your site but I had such an eye opening encounter with the folks at heritage back in 96 it still resinates with me to this day. I guess that just like all of you I really apprieciate (spelled wrong I know) spelling not my best subject. Still you guys know what its all about we are trying to hang on to a dying way of thinking. People first!.............Long live one of the last of a dying breed!
Dick Seacup Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Welcome to the Club, GBOWL (and anyone else I've missed along the way)!!! Are you a Heritage owner? If so, best post a picture before the Etiquette Enforcement squad shows up! ;D
Gunner Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hi. I just joined a few minutes ago. I've been saving for my first semi hollow for awhile now and thought that an Epi Sheraton or Casino would do the trick (in my price range). The cost of a Gibby is way out of reach. But, a member of a Canadian Forum posted pics of his Heritage Prospect and a 335(???) and I just had to learn more about these guitars. I have never heard of Heritage before so I'm going to raid your threads to get as much Info as I can. My real name is Shaun, I'm 16 and from Canada and have the day off school. Nice to be here.
Steiner Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Welcome Shaun! Remember as you peruse, most of it is tongue in cheek here. Day off eh? Another snow day?
Gunner Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 No, not a snow day. An ISU day where I'm suppose to be finishing off a Project.
RJLII Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 OK, I'll take my turn.............. I'm Rob. My friends call me Rob. Originally from Michigan but now South of the border (IN) I have a guitar habit (better than a crack habit) Favorite Heritage - My '94 H550 My Arsenal 90's Danelectro '56 U2 Reissue '97 American Standard Telecaster :'( (Stolen 3/20/09) '90 American Standard Stratocaster :'( (Stolen 3/20/09) '91 Les Paul 40th Anniversary :'( (Stolen 3/20/09) '06 Les Paul '58 Reissue '08 ES335 Figured Top '94 Heritage H550 '83 RJL Special Electric (Senior Project in College) Still kicks ass after over 25 years. '82 Fender F210 Acoustic '80ish Yamaha Classical '65 Blackface Deluxe Reverb Reissue '94 Tweed Blues Deville 4x10 '90 Carvin X-60 80's Pignose Spent 14 years in Kalamazoo starting with college. Degree in Industrial Design. Visited 225 Parsons Street in 1981 and had an epiphany. Wanted to design and build guitars. Made a bitchin' electric as my Senior Design Project (Belated thanks to Tim Shaw at Gibson for the advice). Wound up designing and building other stuff to finance the necessities of life (eating, living indoors, and guitars). No complaints (who'd listen?)
Steiner Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Read in choral, a cappella drone: Hi Rob... Welcome to the Kazoo express! ;D

JeffB Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 They aren't mine. This is my work environment. Sucks huh. Funny thing for a grown man to do.
Steiner Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 They aren't mine. This is my work environment. Sucks huh. Funny thing for a grown man to do. It looks like a hostile work-place, full of sexual innuendos and loud noise. Probably tons of the opposite gender rotating through asking to see your "wares". Can I apply on-line? I suppose I've almost totally de-railed this post. It's tough to quiet all those voices in my head... Hi Roddy! Welcome to the HOC ward ;D I truly hope they have single malt in the land down under! God bless the Scotts!

Some days I just ache to get back out in the weather and do some serious graft on a construction site. Not. Dont know how I did that for so long.
