eljay Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 with the kind assistance of da Boid, i have a website on which appear (1) a pic of "moi" holding my h137, taken at psp4 and (2) a link to three audio clips of the new, hollow Prospect. http://eljayski.com/ the clips demo a phrase of "a walk in the black forest" played on each pickup combination. the guitar ran straight in to the audio interface without use of effects, just pure guitar. the treble on the neck pickup was rolled down almost all the way; treble on the bridge was maxed out; same settings for the middle position. thanks for listening! eljay thanks again to HFB
hinesarchtop Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Nice! I haven't heard that tune in ages. Great melody. I think I heard that on a Jankowski record that floated around the house.
Steiner Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 The both recording sounds as if it came straight from the Beverly Hillbillies! Which is fantastic 'cuz Me n Jethro are sole brothers. -Vittles break- The bridge only sounds stellar too, as does the neck. I bet that's a Real, Fun guitar when one puts the gain to eleven! Nice recordings and style! Thanks for sharing
FredZepp Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Hey... that was fun.. Very nice tones... ( I couldn't help but think Beverly Hillbillies after Steiners comment... but like he said , it's in a good way. ) And a nice ending on those recordings..
JeffB Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Good recordings. Ringing chord at the end of each clip really shows the depth of sound in tht guitar. How do you make a website? thats awesome!
Kuz Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Keep them coming.... I love the home recording/sound clips of members!!!!!!!!!!
tulk1 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Would like to hear those clips thru an amp. Altho' you can certainly hear what that guitar is capable of direct. What I really like is that you played the same clip for all three samples.
eljay Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 What I really like is that you played the same clip for all three samples. it's the only tune i know . . .
