I was just looking at the hang tag from my 150. It is listed as an H150 CM. Under this it says "CL" all written in pen. Anyone know what CL means?

I would make the leap that it means Classic. Do believe there was that designation for a while. What year?

The H-150CM was the standard model with Schaller Golden 50's pickups. The H-150CM Classic was the designation for Duncan pickups. The H-150CM Deluxe had HRW pickups and usually gold hardware.

Thanks golferwave, that makes sense. This guitar spent some time in your neck of the woods I believe.

Yep, and it came with Duncan 59's. Not my cup of tea in a solid body. The Stormy's are a big step up in my humble opinion.

I am pretty sure it is "Classic". I almost bought one recently and that was the designation.

That's how I felt about them in my 157. The idea was better than the results.

I had 59's in my 157 as well Kenny, I took them out in favor of a set of ThroBak DT-102's. Randy and I were emailing and decided that the 59's were kind of "shrill" in a solid body. Everyone we've talked to seems to like them in a 535 so that must be where they shine.
