Sprinter Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 What's the best way to tighten up the input jack on my H535? I've thought about holding the jack with a pair of snap ring pliers to keep it from spinning while tightening the nut. Sprinter
Guest HRB853370 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 That would work but you may want to tape around the jack on the body just to insure against that potential slip of the tool.

t0aj15 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 http://www.allparts.com/Bullet-Guitar-Jack-Tightener-p/LT-1400-023.htm I got mine on Amazon.com for $12.00. I've used it twice now, once on my 535 and it's a very simple but effective tool.

bolero Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 hey what's the tool you need to use with the older recessed input jacks? I think stewmac sells them too
Sprinter Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 The tools arrived from StewMac today and worked perfectly!!! The spanner wrench will be handy for a lot of different jobs. if you do your own setups or guitar repair the gripper is a nice tool to have and everyone should have the spanner wrench. Sprinter

NoNameBand Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 If you don't want to spend a lot of money on something you may use only once, crow bar & a pipe wrench.
