Jump from the 535 neck profile thread...I just spent a little time w/ my often in the case opaque black 555 (2006). I keep my amp set at a low level in my home office where my gits live. I don't usually change the volume even when I change guitars (H574--fender strat deluxe--lp)

BUT tonight---when I went from the strat to the 555---My wife almost immediately came in the office (as usual I hadn't otuched the volume) and said "can you turn that down?"....Seriously, the 555 is just a power monster compared to everything else in the room. It's got a chunky neck---unbelievable range---a great weight and seemingly non-stop sutain. It's almost like a benevolent bully in the room. It looks alot like BB King's lucille in color/appearance---and like B.B.---it's just a force!...Can anything out there stand toe to toe and hope to compete?....(she's got stock Schallers btw)

Now THAT is a tone review that I can relate to! If the wife comes into the room, you KNOW you were really enjoying that power monster.

As you stated, your 555 is just a force! Not much more needs to be said about your 555.

Anytime you go from single coil guitar to a humbucker guitar, you will immediately gain 33% more output through your amp!
