2007 with Seth Lovers and no pickguard.

RhoadsScholar did not rave about the top, so I had low expectations. I'm very impressed though.

I find it elegant. So I had to shows some pics. These were taken with and without a flash on a workbench. They're not glam shots, but you can see the grain and flame.

Oh, and it has a one piece back.

The top is beautiful. Very unique. Let's see the one piece back. Can you hear a difference from a 2 piece? Hahaha.........Strike up the dead dog of a debate one more time!

Tuned it and plugged it in.

The guitar sounded bright for Seths. Then I noticed the pups are raised quite close to the strings. The articulation and clarity is much better with some decline in warmth. It sounds hotter.

Thought I'd share.

Congrats!! Are those mini buckers? Looking forward to sound report ; )

They are Seths.

The guitar is brighter than I expected, a little whisper of P90 maybe. That's probably due to the raised pups.

I checked the pots and caps. Nothing special there.

Congratulations!!! I'm pretty happy with mine too. :P

Oh, poop! Now I get it. The enhanced tones come from the one piece body.
