Guest HRB853370 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Redshark, here is a photo of mine, not a good one but you can see the resemblance to yours. The photos say ASB but its really ALSB.
redshark Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Redshark, here is a photo of mine, not a good one but you can see the resemblance to yours. The photos say ASB but its really ALSB. Yes, no doubt mine is not almondburst. My H535 was exactly same color as yours and diferent than mine.
redshark Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 This is the last pics of my guitar with the changes, cosmetic and sound (wiring).
smurph1 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 It's actually my second heritage. My first one was a H535 with Seth Lovers that I had to sell because I never bonded with the neck. It felt wider, sorta like a D profile and I had to sadly let her go. Going back to this guitar, the pickups make it really versatile. I also like the woody feel of the chambered body. This does jazz to blues to classic rock really well. One more pic: nice git man..Play her in good health..
DetroitBlues Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Great looking gutar! Congrats, you'll love the LW, so much easier on the back.
redshark Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 Beautiful. nice job on the wiring. Yes,thanks!!! is great to learn how to use the iron. Save $$ and...nobody will do it as clean and neat in your own guitar but yourself...
golferwave Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 That's a beautiful H-150 and Trainwreck clone as well! Who did the cabinets for the amp?
redshark Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks guys!! Jim Weyandt (boogieongtr @ the amp garage and the gear page) (NWOhio) built me the lighter express cab and the darker rocket cab was built by Mitch Zeitner here in Atlanta
DetroitBlues Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I do it myself, I learned how to use a soldering iron and actually built a couple of trainwreck clones. Is good to have a roommate that is an electronic tech!! he showed me some electronics and to use the iron. This are my amps by the way, I always use 50's style wiring.... I've played a trainwreck clone. I thought it was a rather nice amp. Lack of master volume is a bit of an issue for me though. Is that an attenuator on top?
redshark Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Yes, that is an attenuator. Airbrake clone. I used that style of chassis to make it look more "authentic"
tsp17 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 congratulations. Welcome to the brotherhood of the chambers! (sounds much better than the "light-weight brotherhood") i hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine.
jamison162 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Hey RedShark...where'd ya get the "Gibson Historic Spec CTS Pots"? What did yours measure? Bridge and Neck volume pots mainly??
paul144 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 hey, nice guitar! That was the one I sold ya...I miss it. I just put a set of the Fralin Pure PAFs in my LP Classic Antique, same chambered idea as the LW. They are awesome pickups! Might get a set for my H140 someday.
