Genericmusic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I found this website while researching foot-switches. If one is not too particular about OEM (original equipment manufacture) this is a little cottage industry out of California that is building replacement foot-switches for a multitude of amplifiers. The prices seem very reasonable.

Guest HRB853370 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I recently purchased this one off Ebay for my Delta Blues (Peavey is no longer in the footswitch business and does not include one anymore). I couldn't believe the price either. It is in a metal caseing and the cable is 15 feet long, which I really like. The only thing is the buttons are not identified, but once you memorize which button is for trem and which for distortion, you got it made. http://www.ebay.com/itm/290612259747?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Trouble Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Footswitches are just that, switches you step on, nothing special about them. The most complicated part is the plug on multi switch pedals, and even that is not hard to wire up. If you dont have the skills to build a box you can buy an inclosure.
Gitfiddler Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Carvin makes its own high quality footswitches, and I've used them in a number of non-Carvin amps.

koula901 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 When I bought my Valveking last year, they still offered a footswitch... DB - do you still have that valveking? 1-12 or 2?
DetroitBlues Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 DB - do you still have that valveking? 1-12 or 2? I sold my VK for the KBP810 build. Regardless, it was a fantastic amp for both my Strat and my 140. I miss the amp, but I wouldn't part ways with the KBP for one. But I had the 1x12 model. It was great to use with the band. I don't think I ever had the volume up past 4.
