my mail carrier just brought the EXTERMINATOR

that was a big effort....prob should have let my wife take it downstairs :)

 

well, i was a little worried because he shipped it like this..... :tool:

so i take it dowstairs just to test it, i cant really play right now....the electronics test out ok.  it has some battle scars, a few chips, but it certainly wasnt abused.  it needs a good TLC cleaning and a new set of strings (all of which will have to wait untill i have full use of my left arm :().  the neck looks good, frets are great...no cracks or repairs.  here are some more pics....

dude, your a rocker now, to honor your great new acquisition I'm gonna post a intro in name that intro in your honor.

Glad it got there in good shape.

 

 

P.S. I'm still kicking my self for not buying it even if I didn't have the money.

just glad one of the H.O.C. nabbed it.

Fabulous that you posted a picture of the packing job, Brent!  That's the stuff of legends!  "Pay ta have it boxed!  'sa'ready in a box!  Hell with that!  MARGRET!!  Where's 'at bubble wrap we saved when we bought thu mirror fer the bedroom...?"   What a genius!  I love that pic!  Might have been easier just to inflate a couple of old innertubes around it, though.          :occasion1:

the bridge pup is a schaller, but the post screws are different???????????  i wonder if it will rock the house?

BELIEVE ME, IF IT WASNT SO PAINFUL TO GO DOWN THE STEPS, I'D BE DOWN THERE STARING AT IT OR OTHER THINGS :-* :-* :-*

 

I'D LIKE TO SLEEP W/ IT, IT WOULD BE THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A COUPLE WEEKS  :P

I defiantly feel for ya,

 

nothing is crappier than to have a new toy and not be able to play with it.

 

oh except maybe not being able to play with your old toys either.

 

Oh well brother, eat your vitamins and get better, and look on the bright side; you should have plenty of time to figure out how to " pimp that git". I'm thinking active pups, and potentially adding a third pup in the center.

 

and one of those zztop strap mounts so you can spin the guitar on your waist as you are playing.

Hey Brent, I've heard that one's attitude, mental state of mind can dramatically effect the healing process.  With your incredible desire to heal, motivated by the WILD THANG guitar, you'll be back wanking her (the guitar!) in no time.

 

Also, does that pickguard kinda look like it came off of a Flying Vee?
