koula901 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 so, forgive the stupid question, but, are you building an amp voiced for jazz, or rock, or all purpose flour?
DetroitBlues Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I saw the chasis for this amp last night. Wow, it is really, really small.... There's a lot of stuff going into a real small peice of real estate...
barrymclark Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 so, forgive the stupid question, but, are you building an amp voiced for jazz, or rock, or all purpose flour? Odd bird, to be honest. It can do about anything, really. Of course, it won't please everybody. If you are into 40's swing/R&B. Then you will like the jazz sound on this. If you like early rock like Chuck Berry or comptemporary rockabilly artists such as Brian Setzer, you'd probably dig this. If you like old school amps that are killer for blues, you will like this amp. If you like the 'classic' rock sound with the amp overdriven, you will like this amp. If you put a pedal in front of it like a H&K Tubeman or Mesa V-Twin or the like, you will like how this amps treats those preamps. It is indeed meant to cover a lot of bases. ... but to my liking. haha. It covers the bases I like.
