Gitfiddler Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Be careful, I heard they bite and have a bad case of lockjaw.... I think you are confusing her with a Czech Pit Bull. We certainly take many side trips on our HOC thread excursions, often changing lanes without signaling.
yoslate Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 We certainly take many side trips on our HOC thread excursions, often changing lanes without signaling. If I sued for every time I got whiplash here, reading a thread, I'd own Heritage Guitars, outright! ; )
DetroitBlues Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Yes, there certainly are times where a thread quickly turns into a Saturday Night Live skit of color commentors....
Guest HRB853370 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 On my way home from PSP4 last year I sat next to a pretty 22 year old Czech girl on the Detroit to Huntsville leg of the journey. I told her if she got sleepy she could lay her head on my lap. Did she play hockey?
smurph1 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 It's nitro - it's gonna check. Check? can you write me a check? Thanks..
smurph1 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Yes, there certainly are times where a thread quickly turns into a Saturday Night Live skit of color commentors.... yep..we are legends in our own minds...
DavesNotHere Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 had an '86 Stat that had significant checking. and, yellowed binding. My '86 Stat has absolutely no checking. My '88 H-162 and my '88 Parsons Street have minimal checking. I however, have extensive Czeching
tbonesullivan Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I've got some minor checking on the millie, mainly coming out from under the knobs, and one near the screwhole for the bigsby. nitro finishes check eventually. Not really much that can be done about it. As the finish outgasses it becomes more brittle, and eventually the changes from moisture and temperature can cause cracks.
hokenfloken Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 My 1991 H-140CM has no checking whatsoever. I think it sat in one spot for many years. It smells like it sat in a boat or a damp cabin or trailer for years. The smell faded when I cleaned it but it's still there. But...no checking at all. Maybe the humidity helped.
yngwie308 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Neither of my beloved Heritages have checked what so ever. They are looked after and not exposed to dramatic temp changes. They have lived in Arizona since 2004, so no humidity issues here, as in no humidity. yngwie308
