MartyGrass Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 There's no question about what the best add-on is. Time. Time to play it. Time to relax with it. Time.
barrymclark Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I was gonna say AxeFX rig... or the Starlite... but I guess if you want to sound good, yeah, you're right.
yoslate Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 A good band to play it in! Tight and solid rhythm section; another guitarist to trade with; a tasteful, toneful, reserved sax player; and a solid B-3 to comp with.
brentrocks Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 A good guitar player to play it. then why do i own one?
Guest HRB853370 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 A hot and sexy female lead singer (or male lead singer if you are in an all female band) that you can stare at while playing!
H Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Talent and application. I have plenty of the latter...
Kuz Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 First thing I did to ALL my Heritages as soon as I got them............. Schaller Strap Locks!!!
tulk1 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Sorry ... best accessory is strings. They don't make much noise without them. And since Johnboy brought up stap locks ... I've been using these - Strap Loxx. Love 'em. Don't let the small footprint put you off. Worth trying at least one set.
DetroitBlues Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I was going to say a GT Cable plugged into your favorite KBP amp!

As far as strap locks go, I got a set of these. Simple, inexpensive, and no altering of your instrument required, as they slip over the factory Heritage strap pins: http://elderly.com/a.../items/SL1S.htm

If time be of all things most precious, wasting time must be the greatest prodigality , since lost time is never found again. - Benjamin Franklin Oh, and +1 on what everybody else said, too, especially the B3! A well played Hammond B3 is the shiznit!
DetroitBlues Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Having the time to play with a band is tops....never played with a keyboardist, but I'm willing to try!

heritagefan7 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I'd have to say---INSPIRATION! I know practice makes semi-perfect or at least better---but when I hear something in the middle of the day and can't wait to get home to try it and finally find that TIME (+1) and work and work and work until I finally learn the song--it's just an awesome thing.
