602a Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Got her in today 11.3 lbs of 1996 good wood. She has Klein H-1 LW in her with RS wiring and split pots. She has 1 tiny ding but is listed a Second. I cannot find what might make her a second. Beautiful top and great marking on her back and sides. Binding is all perfect. She has new Grover's like I've never seen before. Who knows. She's a chunky one though for sure. Came set up with low action and a 59 size neck. Pick guard is in like new case. May leave it off. Low wind pickups and split pots gotta go. She needs a set of Wolfetones in her. She's a rocker not a jazzer or strat.
Steiner Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 That's a beautiful guitar! Thanks for the porn!!!
MartyGrass Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 They are all starting to look the same. I was hoping to see another pic on your wooden chair.
SouthpawGuy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Very nice, congrats. A nice vintage burst is hard to beat.

FredZepp Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Great VSB porn. ... nice looking wood on that. The site for Klein says these are Low wind PAF style with extreme clarity... I don't recall anyone trying them in a 150 before.
Gitfiddler Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Na ,I think that chair was the problem bad karma OK who was it that wanted the Kleins? Me! I sent you a PM about der Kleins. Let's chat off line if they are for sale or trade... Tim
DetroitBlues Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 where can you pick up B stocks? Have to call Heritage I think...
602a Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Nice. But why Wolfetones? They are simply AWSOME to me.
tbonesullivan Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 NICE!!! that is one great looking guitar. Factory seconds may just be guitars that had an messup during finishing, or were buffed through the finish and needed repair, etc.
602a Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 I found out what it is. There is about a 2 inch length of the side of the headstock by the E and A tuning key that did not take the red stain like the rest of the back and neck of the guitar. It's a lighter shade of red. It was probably closed grain. I noticed it last night when the light hit it. I cannot find anything else anywhere on her.
kbp810 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Very nice! I'm a fan of Wolfetones as well - I've played with Dr. V's and Marshallheads, great pups. From what I've seen, usually the only real noticable flaw in a #2 is the #2 itself... which isn't much of a flaw at all in my book, I sure wouldn't hesitate to buy one if it caught my eye.
