BrianToth Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 For me it would be a guitar in the style of my sadly gone Epiphone (US) Howard Roberts. Boy did I love that guitar. If only it could be done again in Kalamazoo as the original one was. How about you guys?
barrymclark Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'd say it would be an H500 Classic (a model based on the post-war ES-300). It would be, essentially, an understated 17" H575 with dual Fralin Noiseless P90's and a Venetian cutaway.
bolero Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'd be interested in a non-reverse body H357 the bridge & playing position would be closer to where I'm used to on H150's etc
kbp810 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Well, seems like perhaps the notion of this thread is to dream big... but at the moment I would love either a 110 or a Millie Eagle, F-holes, split block inlays, in other something like VWB to match my 157, or perhaps Antique Natural.
big bob Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 An Ark, 40 cubits,by 60 cubits, by 100 cubits.
kbp810 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 An Ark, 40 cubits,by 60 cubits, by 100 cubits. With two of every pickup type?
barrymclark Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 With two of every pickup type? 7 of every clean pickup type and 2 of every unclean pickup type. (Bigsby)
eljay Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 vsb 140 w/ traps, either hollow or filled--leaning toward filled. stormy monday pickups, perhaps.
Gitfiddler Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Hey Heritage.......Build me a slightly oversized (15" bottom bout), chambered Mahogany bodied Kahuna/SoCo shaped, AAAA Maple topped, tune-o-matic bridged, Fralin PAF'd, Vintage Sunburst'd, Small block'd, Rosewood fret board'd, Natural maple body bound'd beauty, topped with Vintage Locking Kluson tuners.........and I'll be happy!
hinesarchtop Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 A Super KB with flamed birdseye back and sides. Single neck humbucker. Old style burst. 3 3/8" deep. Oh yeah baby!
Kuz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Well, I can't say that "I just got to have one", but a Korina Explore would be cool..... But I think a red 535 with a Bigsby would be more practical. I hate having to play my PRS guitars out just because they have a wiggly arm.
High Flying Bird Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'd be interested in a non-reverse body H357..... I had a non-reverse for my first guitar. I was going to say a Firebird but they built me one of those in 2010. Maybe something double cutaway and heavily chambered.
High Flying Bird Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 But I think a red 535 with a Bigsby would be more practical. That wouldn't suck.
Kuz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 That wouldn't suck. That one or your former gold top would do the trick for sure!!!
yoslate Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 One of the nicest 535's ever! I have a jones for a 157 done up just like a '55 Custom, but with nickel hardware....
jjkrause84 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'm thinking a 3 P90 535 with switching to allow me to change the phase of the middle P90.....like the Yamaha 503TVL.
bolero Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 actually I changed my mind...I'd want a Heritage mandolin!!
drfie Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 A truck. Lots of flame maple side panels and mahogany for the box bed. Schaller locking door handles and bigsby window cranks. Power A chord horn, really loud. Ebony accents in the interior and quintuple binding on everything inside. dan

Those are both great looking woodies. Check with Marv.
yavuz Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I am already having a gold top millie built for me. It has custom carved mahogany back and a single gold pickup. Here is a photoshopped millie that will look like my new baby...

JackBaruth Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I already sent them specs on the 170 I want them to build... we will see what they do.
barrymclark Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I already sent them specs on the 170 I want them to build... we will see what they do. I sent them the specs on a highly modified 170 once. They said no. After all the mods... it would have looked like this:
