Any Experience with SD Antiquity Pickups on a H-150CM?

Anyone have any experience with swapping out Schallers or Seth Lovers for SD Antiquity pickups on a H-150CM? Not that jazzed about the stock Schallers on my 1996 H-150. Any advise out there? Thanks in advance.

As I recall, shook494 had Antiquities in his H150 at one point in time. He would be a good source.

 

The Antiquities are going to sound similar to Seth Lovers.

I don't like Schallers very much

 

never tried antiquities but I;m sure they'll be an improvement

which are all unpotted vintage spec...so the ant will probably be similar

Yes, I think the SD Antiquity pickups are unpotted. I'm looking for something a little warmer and much clearer than the Schallers.

I had them in my 150 for a while. I liked them for a while but they seemed a little on the shrill side to me. Too much treble. I liked the SD Custom Custom pups that I bought it with better. They were a little darker sounding to me. I did like the neck pickup better than the bridge. Hope that helps a little. Shook.

I have Antiquities in my 150 & love em... I also did a wiring upgrade with an RS Kit at the same time.
