barrymclark Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Money is just not improving as planned. Not to the point where I can say to Brian that I will have the money at this time. I can't even say that I will have tax return money available to use for it. Money is improving at our house but not at the pace we had planned. In fact, it is, I'd say a little over half pace. Very bummed for my own selfish reasons but also bummed that Brian has put so much time into the design. When money gets better, I hope to come with actual cash in hand and get it rolling instead of planning on having money in hand. That once worked... but not for the past year or so.
smurph1 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Sorry to hear that Barry..Hope things get better for ya soon..
pegleg32 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Sorry to hear that Barry, hope things improve for you in the near future, I know how much you were anticipating that amp.
DetroitBlues Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Wow, thought it was a done deal and the amp chasis was ready for assembly... bummer.
barrymclark Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Wow, thought it was a done deal and the amp chasis was ready for assembly... bummer. It is... I just ran out of money to fill the chassis. All is not lost. I still have the Cube which I am pretty happy with so it isn't as though I am ampless.
DetroitBlues Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 At least by paying the deposit you'll know the amp parts are in and ready to be finished up when you are.
barrymclark Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Days are improving... just not at the rate I was hoping they would. At least day to day living isn't as scary as it was 7 months ago.
bolero Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 that sucks, good luck with everything "barrymclark, gigolo" has a nice ring to it?
bolero Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 ps that was just a lighthearted joke, don't mean to offend..apologies if so
barrymclark Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 No offense taken. Believe me... if I thought that would get me the Starlite... I'd try it. But I think my double your money back guarantee would end my career really fast.
DetroitBlues Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I was really looking forward to doing a demo on this amp too... But Brian has other projects in the works...
barrymclark Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Yeah. Well, it isn't out my head.. just out of my wallet. So... maybe in the future when I have cash in hand.
barrymclark Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 At least by paying the deposit you'll know the amp parts are in and ready to be finished up when you are. It is a handful of parts but you are right. At least that much has been started.
