DavesNotHere Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Actually NHD was about a week ago. But that's close enough. This is the 150 Slammer had for sale. I'm so glad I jumped on it. I was literally days away from doing a custom with a similar top and finish, but this popped up and was just too good to pass up. The pictures aren't great but, The Bird is going to take some real shots for me this weekend and I'll post them later. BTW don't hesitate to do a deal with Will. He obviously takes great care of his guitars and describes them accurately.
fxdx99 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Congrats - pretty guitar! Some nice amps, too.
GASguy Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I love the top on that one; it is a real looker for sure. Congratulations enjoy it.
JeffB Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Nice. Thats the finish I would have gotten if I had put some thought into it.
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Photos look great Dave. Glad it found itself a nice home. Enjoy!!
schundog Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hubba hubba. I knew that one was going to go fast. Sometimes, I breathe a sigh of relief when they sell, so I can stop obsessing over them. Congrats!!
DavesNotHere Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks guys! This one is a keeper. Can anyone tell me the significance Custom Shop label? Is that a special label for Wolfe?
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks guys! This one is a keeper. Can anyone tell me the significance Custom Shop label? Is that a special label for Wolfe? Hey Dave, wait just a minute now. I didn't know I sold you a 150 Classic from the Custom Shop!! I thought it was a CM model. Did I misrepresent it?
FredZepp Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks guys! This one is a keeper. Can anyone tell me the significance Custom Shop label? Is that a special label for Wolfe? We've seen those labels for a couple of dealers... it may have to do with them having certain specs that they request, but doesn't really add any significance to the instrument. ... as we know.... all Heritage instruments are custom shop instruments.
DavesNotHere Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Hey Dave, wait just a minute now. I didn't know I sold you a 150 Classic from the Custom Shop!! I thought it was a CM model. Did I misrepresent it? Not at all Like Fred said, they're all essentially custom. I'm going to shoot an email to Wolfe's and see if they can tell what, if anything, is custom on this one.
High Flying Bird Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I live 4 miles from the man but I ain't seen it.
heritagefan7 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Hubba hubba. I knew that one was going to go fast. Sometimes, I breathe a sigh of relief when they sell, so I can stop obsessing over them. Congrats!! Me too!!!!...Nice pick up Dave--that's the one I'd pick too!--Enjoy, Enjoy!!!!
