DavesNotHere Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 We already cracked one case, let's go for two. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/14690-stolen-heritage-alert/
drfie Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Wide array of instruments. Wonder what kind of band this is?
truthczar2000 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I was playing a gig down in Orlando last weekend (Jan. 13th-15th) and my beloved 2005 H150 Custom was stolen in a smash and grab at the Hilton in Altamonte springs. This was my go-to guitar for several years, and I'm heartbroken. I have been a fan of Heritage guitars since I first played an H170 in 1986. This was my dream guitar with everything I wanted on it: faded cherryburst finish with a bound headstock and Bixby tail piece, Duncan JB and 59 pickups and a bound wood pickguard, belly cut on the back (my big belly really liked that). I can't remember the serial # but it was originally purchased from Big Orange Guitar. Any help retrieving this guitar would be appreciated.
DetroitBlues Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 We have already been looking into it. There was a post about it earlier yesterday along with the host of other items that were stolen.
truthczar2000 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 We are a rock band with a bagpipe player. Check us out at www.unclehamishandthehooligans.com. I play guitar (it was my heritage they got).

Sorry to hear that man..We will do our best to help you get your baby back..
SouthpawGuy Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 That 150 with a Bigsby and belly cut is very distinctive and will stand out. It would help if you could provide photos. I'm sure HOC members will keep an eye out for it.
bolero Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 man that really sucks, I hope they catch the bastards at least it's a pretty unique guitar so everyone should have no problem ID'ing it if it shows up anywhere I'd be checking local pawnshops as well as watching craigslist etc I hope you guys had insurance on your stuff?
brentrocks Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 If anybody can find it, it will the brain trust at the HOC
FredZepp Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 You may want to contact the dealer that you bought it from and see if you can get a copy of your receipt and the serial number.... just to be ready in case it pops up somewhere... Good luck .. these types of things make us gnash our teeth with anxiety and we hope that you get your Heritage back soon.
smokedtires Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 That stinks. Good luck in your search. Be sure to watch you local Criagslist ads.
TalismanRich Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I checked out the Uncle Hamish website and snapped this good shot of the guitar. We'll keep a good eye out for Ebay and Florida Craigslist. These guys are good.. .check out their site. http://unclehamishandthehooligans.com/fr_home.cfm
tbonesullivan Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 That really sucks. I was on a trade show once and our truck got broken into. Cut right through the supposedly uncuttable lock.
tbonesullivan Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 man.. I hate to say it, but that is a guitar I'd never leave in a van. I'm paranoid and live in NJ 20 minutes from Newark, so even if I'm going into a restaurant, if I have a guitar or trombone in my car, it comes in with me.
H555rocks Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Bummer man, we'll be looking out for your git.
tsp17 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Seriously! it's like kicking another man's dog. Sorry to hear of this loss. happened to me once. will keep an eye out.
drfie Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 We are a rock band with a bagpipe player. Check us out at www.unclehamishandthehooligans.com. I play guitar (it was my heritage they got). You guys sound great! Do you ever come to SW Michigan?? dan
