i've not bonded with my 150 as i have with my other Hs. my R8s, otoh, are near the top of the go-to pecking order. the R8s have exquisite action while the 150 does not.

mebbe the setup will do the trick . . .

I have a 150 VSB I had the same issue with. I had a bone nut installed, the frets crowned and set up and it is sweet. My Blueburst 150 that I bought from Brent came perfectly set up. Have faith...after they twist the neck and bend the body, move the bridge and tailpiece as well as ground down the nut, it'll most likely be perfect.

One of the things I forgot to mention is, they may need to re-cut the grooves in the nut. I've found that Heritage sometimes doesn't cut them deep enough for low action some times. Very simple fix but worth noting as simply adjusting the action and adjusting the truss-rod may not get as low as you may want. Mine are very low.

Twist the neck? Good Lord!

More than likely it won't need anything more than a minor truss rod adjustment and perhaps the bridge raised or lowered slightly. I am not a setup expert but normally that is all thats needed.

Fun; isn't it? Worth every penny.

Setups are so worth it. I do most of my own, but sometimes they are beyond me, so I take them in.

The G&L SB-2 I brought to PSP IV, after it got home, went to my guy for a new nut, new strings, and setup. It plays far better than it did back then and sounds a lot better too with more even string volume.
