Hfan Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 For those lucky enough to own more than one Heritage, if you could only keep one (heavens forbid), which would it be? For me it would be the 535 with Antiquities. Hasn't been out in a long time, old strings, but just plugged it in to the Reverb Deluxe, holy s..., the 575, 150 and 157 would have to go. Actually thinking of selling one but it's hard. Edit for picture before I get hollered at...
Kuz Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Wow, no way to answer that..... For me it would have to be which Semi? Which archtop? Which 150? And even then I don't know.
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Loaded question. Ask me after I have sold all my G and F brands first! They would be the first to go!

Hfan Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Loaded question. Ask me after I have sold all my G and F brands first! They would be the first to go! Fenders, G&L, Gibby etc are not eligble Wil..tough decesion. If it too traumatic to decide, I can relate.
koula901 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Gosh . . . that's a tough question . . . like Sophie's Choice. I'd have to say the 535.
yoslate Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Love all of them! Each has a story. Can't imagine getting rid of any of them. Phenomenal instruments! Keep one? Unimaginable...!
Hfan Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Some consensus so far but its early on...
Spectrum13 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Would I still have all my amps or only one?
barrymclark Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I was about to say this one would be easy. haha. Then I read the past the headline. haha.
DetroitBlues Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I only own two guitars right now (my Ibanez is now my son's guitar). Heritage 140 and 445. I'd part with the 140 first because that would mean no amp, no pedals, no cables, no mad neighbors. The 445 is a great guitar to keep for life becuase I don't need anything else to play it.... Not even a pick....
NoNameBand Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I would have to keep the 535 and One 150 (VSB or Blueburst). Tough call which one.
FredZepp Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 No feeble excuses, Fred, only one... Hey man... he's not Fred... I am ..... (BTW ... nice pic of that 535 ) When it comes to playing, I favor solidbody guitars .. and my ASB 150 really just seems to fit me like a glove. It was my first Heritage. But I'd really be as happy with the VSB 150 ... and the Centurion is breathtaking to behold...
Hfan Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Would I still have all my amps or only one? Amps are not affected..
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Fenders, G&L, Gibby etc are not eligble Wil..tough decesion. If it too traumatic to decide, I can relate. OK then. Probably my 555, its my most expensive one. I know, not good criteria.
Spectrum13 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I would keep the Prospect. Then sell a couple of amps and other guitars and get a Millie with the new cutaway.
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I would keep the Prospect. Then sell a couple of amps and other guitars and get a Millie with the new cutaway. But...you already have a Millie!! You need to join the 535 club. We have class.
heritagefan7 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 OK---THIS IS EXACTLY the dilema I'm in...3 days a go I posted my 555 for sale on the HOC---for the 2nd time...at what I think is a terribly low price (not intended as a plug as I'm sure all have seen this in the FS section by now). My decision was and is heart wrenching. Having to decide I chose the 555 to sell. My other option was to sell the 574--Ren tells me it's one of only 20 made and was my first Heritage. I have considered selling it b/c I've made a purchese and have to sell one of these. It was hard to choose, but I found solace in the thoght that maybe she would find a home in the HOC and one day we'd reunite. ---574 If this crosses lines from FS/Trade section...please forgive!...I'll remove if the group feels that's necessary...But I ain't thinkin' straight as I'm gonna have to put her on ebay tomorrow!---I'm probably also being selfish.
