MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 These aren't mine. They belong to a friend. Super Eagle. Kenny Burrell. Super 400 Switchmaster Thinline.
FredZepp Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Mmmmmm. Very nice archtop porn. All of those pics are drool worthy...

Flat Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Awesome trio! By the way, just how thin is the Switchmaster? Like a 535? Really sweet, at any depth.
Gitfiddler Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Are those fine archtops owned by someone named Patrick? They have his mark of excellent taste. And that thinline Switchmaster stimulates my GAS glands!!
MartyGrass Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 It wouldn't be that surprising to see these in Patrick's collection. But no, these belong to someone else in New York. The Switchmaster looks great, kinda like mating a Super 400 with a Strat. But there are a few reasons they never took off. I'll bet most of them sold because of looks, not sound. I really am just guessing though.
FredZepp Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 When I saw you posted on this thread, I was hoping for another shot of the Centurion. Ha... thanks for the thought. The Centurion would certainly fit in with this group and after that comment , I can't resist....... ( I had trouble deciding which pics to post... sorry so many.. )
