barrymclark Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Here's my 137 plugged into a Hot Rod Delux. It's loaded with Lindy Fraliln dog ear noiselss p90s. Great crunch tone! You really dog on that amp... but it you sounded good! Like I said before... you can't sound good if you aren't. ...and you sounded good.
koula901 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 you guys are too kind, I know the technique need much work, but at least Heritage helps with tone.
RhoadsScholar Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Well Kouala and ShunDog. Now you have done it. I was checking out this thread, saw the playing, heard the sounds, and had to join the club aquiring Skydog's (previously Brent's) H-137. These free internet sites can get pretty expensive. Hope to post videos of playing it this coming Thursday at the local blues Jam. Stay tuned...

That thing is absolutely gorgeous; I can't believe it was available as long as it was. Looking forward to your video clips; I always enjoy yours.
koula901 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Congrats, RhoadsScholar! You're gonna love it. Our 137's match almost exactly. Can't wait to hear the clips!
RJLII Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Tell me why I should get one of these. One is local here for 1075 obo. I was leaning towards a bucker, but since hearing mick ralphs played a JR i might change my mind. Because they are a badass guitar. An "all business" design that's light, resonant, and versatile. And the TV Yellow finish enhances tone
DetroitBlues Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Nobody really needs one of these .... .. But everyone should have at least one... (just not backwards )
chico Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 you guys are too kind, I know the technique need much work, but at least Heritage helps with tone. lets plan on doing that at PSP jam i'm IN!
RhoadsScholar Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I'm in the 137 club. Took the 137 and my KBP810 Reverb Deluxe out (finally), thanks Brian. Just added a OCD Overdrive. That combo with those Fralin Noiseless pickups sounded really good. Drew a crowd to see what amp I was using and luckily I had to leave as folks wanted to play through it.... Very different sound than my H555 (but I like it). Here's the video ...
