PLEASE DON'T SHOUT. the hrw pickup has a lot of "mystery" about it. they are said to be a schaller humbucker rewound by a heritage employee using specs that are most proprietary, as in "top secret." i have no direct experience with them but other members of this forum say that they do very well for certain styles of music and are not so good for others. kinda ambiguous, i know. late word is that they've become unavailable for some reason. regards, eljay

I feel the are best for aticulation and chime associated with Archtop jazz guitars. I really did not care for them in solid bodies or semi-solid bodies as I thought they were way too Hi-Fi sounding and didn't represent the tone of the wood very well in these guitars. Yet, others have like them in solid bodies & semi-solid bodies.
