Finally gor my new H-157 on Friday.Went with Aaron Cowles to 225 Parsons St. Met JimDerloo and Bill Page, and got a tour of the factory. No production on fridays so no one else was there but it was cool to see. Thanks to JackBaruth for suggesting Aaron in an old post of mine, he's a rgaet guy with some great stories about 225 Parsons St. So H-157LW, 7.2 lbs, ALSB and 59's.post-544-0-87810900-1329071124_thumb.jpg

Congrats Joe! That is a real beauty. Great color. Stinger and all. What pickups did you end up getting?

wow, that's a really nice guitar, great match for your other 535 too! congrats!

is that a multi piece neck? maple or mahog? can't quite tell in the rear headstock pic...

That is exceptional.. a beauty with great features and you got the whole Parsons Street experience also. That must have been a great day.

Looks like a 5 piece neck also.... sweet ! Congrats.

Yes, 5 piece neck. I wanted the same neck as the 555. Same color also. As far as the wood, I'm not sure but I think maple. The two strips may be mahogany. Friday was a great day, I'm still smiling. Thanks.

Very cool... you got your own mini PSP.

Great looking guitar. It really looks somewhat familiar.

I wish they had made the LW version when I bought mine in 2003. I would love to have a 7# 157!

good call on the 5 piece neck. Probably will never need a truss rod tweak. That is a really nice guitar. congrats and enjoy!

I always thought a 5 piece neck might be more stable.

Congratulations on the new 157. That thing is gorgeous. I'll bet there's not another guitar company out there where even the pickguard can literally take your breath away! Enjoy it!

What's that amp on the right?

Just cause your left hand is throbbing, doesn't mean you can't type. So what if you played all night and have to go to work. We want to know how she sounds! Was it worth the wait?

Congrats! Happy NGDs.
