I was going to be a doctor, but I didn't have the patients...

You're a better man than me. I would have woke them all up and cried "What do you think?!"

If you really respected your neighbors, you would give them some sweet and loud music. I can think of a perfect tune for it, I'm sure the would appreciate it::

" I don't need no doctor"

" mister you're a better man than I "

well I had to plug it in....had to keep it low so just some light strumming....stuck the rode NT4 mic in front, millie eagle w/seths.

these old marshalls are basically big bassman's, so decent cleans

Sounds good! is that recorded at a level you could talk over or louder?

Cortez ! .. then Floyd... I like your choices.

It sounds like you've got it loud enough to drive the speakers to a good full tone.

actually it was really low, about talking voice or slightly louder

I stuck the mic about 12" in front of the 4x12

can't wait to get home and crank that thing up a bit...

Yeah, patience, I dropped my Strat off last Thursday expecting it to be ready today (with the Fralin pups installed) but low and behold, the guy has been sick all week with a cold and has not even started it per a brief conversation a few minutes ago with him. He said he might be able to put it in front of something else and possibly get it done by this Saturday which would be great. Nothing worse than waiting........

got back from work too late to play it loud, so experimented a bit...

it's rare to have any actual recordings not "massaged" in some way...all the sounds we hear in music have been tweaked somewhat, rather than just a dry amp like that

so I ran it thru an EMT plate reverb unit I have in the kitchen ;)

it's subtle...I think the bit around 4:45 is most noticeable with the verb
