killerblues Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If I custom order a 535, would the factory do double trapezoid inlays if I asked for it on the fret board, like on an es345? thanks!
DetroitBlues Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 There isn't really anything they won't do.
killerblues Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 thanks db. I wonder what kind of upcharge I'd be looking at?
Genericmusic Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Call and ask. They are very accessable.
big bob Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I have double traps on my 150 custom... they are very nice!
DetroitBlues Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 thanks db. I wonder what kind of upcharge I'd be looking at? I've never ordered from them, so you'd have to ask those on here that have. Personally, I would rather have small blocks on the 535, not traps. Traps are too 150/Les Paul associated then on semi-hollows. But its your guitar, do what you want.
brentrocks Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 my guess is that you would be looking at a $300-$500 upcharge? just a guess...dont hold me to it
Spectrum13 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Since they source their fingerboards with fancy inlays they would custom order a single board. How long could you wait?
DavesNotHere Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I've always liked that one. What is it's official model name?
High Flying Bird Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I've always liked that one. What is it's official model name? The H-Das Reich.

killerblues Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 wow those traps are what I'm talking about! I would wait for as long as it takes to get one. The only lefty es 345 I've ever seen is on the bay for 23,000 bucks. I could care less about headstock shape. Heritage guitars rock!

tulk1 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I thought they brought all the fret board worh back inside. So the fancy stuff is still outsourced?
