I should mention, I owe Steiner a debt of gratitude for having his contact make me some trussrod covers and a pickguard; Greg, YOU DA MAN!!

man, that 450 just does it for me. Typical Larrivée with no pg. Do you own other acoustics? How would you characterize the sound?

Before this I had a 445, the tone was fairly similiar from the best of what I can recall, though I think the 450 is perhaps a tad bit brighter - before the 445 I had a KOA Martin acoustic (Laminate I believe?), it had a really cool and unique sound to it, but it did not project very well (was not very loud).

Here are a couple of clips I recorded a while back:

Here is one that I believe was done on the 445

Some dude in Alaska popped up a while back and had an acoustic with an oval sound hole....don't recall the handle of that fella, tho.

This is what I was referencing earlier, the H480, from HOC Member akguitar. Super cool

I think the Bird may be calling "here" soon.

That would be a clever way to say it. :hello2:

I'll post some (crappy) pictures when I get back to the house.

Jumped on that like a chicken on a June bug! You'll be very happy and oh by the way, welcome to the club!
