skydog52 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Marv contacted me about a guitar that Heritage is donating for a good cause. I am putting the information up here for him. This young man has defied all the odds and still has a struggle ahead. Let us all show our support to Marv and Heritage! http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx176/skydog52/marvnephew2001.jpg http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx176/skydog52/Marvauction.jpg http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx176/skydog52/Marvauction3.jpg http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx176/skydog52/Marvauction2.jpg Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions. fallertheating@yahoo.com 248.974.7421 Thanks Paul I will bump this occasionally to keep it fresh in peoples minds.

MartyGrass Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 The Henderson Castle one of the sponsors listed. Do we know them? The Henderson Castle is across one of the oldest graveyards in the county. One of my daughters had her wedding reception there. Thumbs up. http://www.hendersoncastle.com/ The little guy with the hypoplastic left heart still has a long row to hoe in front of him, as does his family. This is a good cause.
MartyGrass Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I hope it sells for $3000 Brent, there's only one way you can be sure of that!

NoNameBand Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 This is a great cause. My band (No Name Band) is playing tonight for a Heart Association benefit. Our keyboard player is a recipient of a device (LVAD) that pumps the heart while on a waiting list for a heart transplant. The event is called, "batteries included". He has to be plugged in to electric at all times or on a battery pack that lasts only 2 hours during power outages or stepping out of the house. Imagine the fear of knowing your heart will stop beating if you have no electric. However, this new device is highly successful and is expected to replace heart transplants in the near future. It's a blessing when we can help others through our music, guitars and inspiration. An excerpt from the brochure: From October of 2011 to December of 2011, Dan was hospitalized on 4 separate occasions at The Christ Hospital of Cincinnati, having entered into the 4th and final stage of heart failure at the age of 47. On December 19, 2011 Dan underwent a relatively new heart surgery procedure and is now the proud recipient of a Left Ventricular Assist Device also known as an LVAD thanks to Ohio Heart & Vascular Center and The Christ Hospital. So now we introduce to you, “Dan Henning Batteries Included”, never Dan Henning Unplugged. Play on for Life
