MrFabulous Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Long time stalker of these forums, one of my first posts. I'm looking at a Heritage Blues Deluxe and would like to know more about them. It has Seymor Duncan's and coil taps. I've been interested in a 535/335 style guitar for quite some time and know this probably gets me closer to Prospect/339 territory. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Gitfiddler Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Heritage Blues Deluxe's are very cool, upgraded versions of the Heritage Prospect. They were originally ordered by Ed Roman and are one of the best things he ever did as far as I'm concerned. I think I know which one you are looking at. If so, the price is in the ballpark. Move quickly, Grasshopper.

ledzef Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Ed ordered those with alot of different options. Mine is kinda of a plain jane by his standards as he told me himself when I bought it. Are the inlay blocks or dots? does it have 2 mini toggles or 1? He also ordered quite a few with ebony boards instead of rosewood. If they have Seymour pups it could be his special order Blackbacks which you can only order through Roman. Those are ceramic instead of a alnico bar, which might be a little much for a semi-hollow. I love my Blues deluxe it is by far the best guitar I've ever owned. Just beware of prices they were way overpriced new and alot of sellers try to recoupe their money by reselling them for high prices. So just beware of that but if it's a guitar you like I say go for it I don't think you'll be disappointed.
