tsp17 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Mark, thanks for letting us know. Would be nice for us to find a way to express our appreciation for his body of work and warm wishes during this challenging time for him and his family.
PunkKitty Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 That's really sad news. Prayers to Floyd and his family.
Joe Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Peace to Floyd and his loved ones. His spirit will live on in his work.
TalismanRich Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I'm sorry that I never got to talk with Floyd. He's done incredible work through the years. Wishing the best to him and his family. MG, keep us in the loop please.
RhoadsScholar Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Always wanted to meet him. As I understand it, he came in to spray my all gold 2nd generation 170 ... I think I'll play it tomorrow night. Thoughts and prayers for Floyd and his family.
tbonesullivan Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Oh man. That is a shame. I always have thought that heritage guitars have some of the most beautiful finishes out there. They put the finishes that Gibson does these days TO SHAME. I always get complements on the finishes on my Heritages.
Dick Seacup Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I am deeply saddened to hear about Floyd's condition. At the same time, I am deeply moved by the outpouring of sympathy and emotion here for him and his family. 20 years ago, very few people would have even known who Floyd was, although his work touched the lives of so many. The appreciation you all have for his skill, his work and the impact it has had on your lives stands in stark contrast to the type of thing we too often see sensationalized on the evening news or in print media. Thank G-d for the Floyd's of the world. And thank G-d for all of you. There's hope yet. Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
Bulldog Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Peace, respect and much love at this most difficult time.
