Not done yet, and waiting for a few more parts to come in, but KBP is working his magic, so I thought I'd share the first photo he's been able to send along. I'm starting to get pretty darn excited!!!

Anticipation! Trust me, it will be WORTH the wait. He makes GREAT stuff. I'm trying to save up for my next KBP810 already.

Now that looks cool! Love the font on the control plate!

One more reason I need to come to PSP this year and hang with you in person...I said the SAME EXACT THING to KBP in my Pm back to him! HAHA!

Yeah, I can't wait for this amp to be done...so stoked!

I'm hoping I can make it this year too. My nephew's first birthday is that day. I'm hoping my sister doesn't have his party on a Friday....

Looking very good and I'm very pleased that my naming suggestion made it to print :)

The word Stentorian is an adjective based on the Latin word stentor. The stentor was the soldier that shouted the orders in a group of Roman soldiers. He had to have a big, clear voice and Vox is the Latin word for voice.

Was the tone pot supposed to have been labeled treble? I had to turn my head upside down to read the labels!

I like the blue tube sockets he uses, it's a nice touch. Could he use the same ones everyone else uses? Yeah. Are the blue ones better? Prolly not. Do the look cool? Absolutely!

Congrats!

Two things

#1- everything you just said is 150% true AND

#2 - your "interests" under your avatar are hilarious!

I'm looking forward to playing this little monster soon! (I lied, I guess that was three things)

I don't think you'll be dissapointed. I think he basically slammed mine together over a weekend because he had been so busy and found some free time. I have 2 old handwired Fenders, and I love them both, but the attention to detail in the KBP is mind blowing, and mine is absolutely a beast.

Congrats.

Congrats.

KBP had a control plate that showed the 2,4,and 8ohm selection for the output, with all the oversized stuff he couldn't make the plate fit, so mine has a 2, 4 and 8 written with a red marker. Which I thought was really cool, kind of a personal touch. I know he didn't plan on that, but it's a little one of a kind quirk that makes my amp a little cooler to me!
