MartyGrass Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Kenny's newest album is a live performance last year, Tenderly. While waiting for food at the drive through I read the liner notes. Kenny used a Heritage for the performance. He said people ask how he gets such great tone. He credited Heritage. Case closed. http://www.amazon.com/Tenderly-Kenny-Burrell/dp/B005DLBM7Q/ref=ntt_mus_ep_dpi_2
Gitfiddler Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 21 Songs on a Kenny Burrell CD?! Just ordered it. Thanks for the heads up.
MartyGrass Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 I wish I could do half of what he does when I hit 80- if I hit 80. He's amazing. You can listen to samples of his playing at the Amazon link.

unikh550 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Hi, MG, I'll bet KB doesn't get great tone by keeping his "case closed." He probably takes his Heritage out of it and plays it. Just sayin'.- Charley
