Announcing, my latest tone monster: H 150 CM LW. Weighs 7.4 lbs and I love her.

This was a total HOC effort. I was first told about it by Southpaw guy, across the pond, it was listed in Craig's list in Boulder, CO. I'm in New England. My dear friend Larry (Eljay) was a sweet heart and met the guy, and the guitar and checked it out for me. It's perfect - in great shape, except for a few minor scuffs - it is a 2007 and it was a great deal. Lefty and light -- a rare combination, at the right price, I jumped on it and am ecstatic. They call it a clownburst, because you love it so much, it makes you smile! :D Major Big Thanks to Southpawguy and Eljay for making this happen! Without their help, I wouldn't have it. Gotta love a great community like the HOC! Hooray for us! : ) The pics don't do it justice - it actually has some real nice grain to the top.

A day early! What do you think of the tone?

How exciting! Congratulations, Katy - love figuring on that top. Wow, 7.4lbs is REALLY light, even for an LW. Big plus. SD59 pickups in it? Looking forward to seeing some vid of that with you.

The tone is wonderful, nice and articulate. I probably should remove the control panel one day to see if I can discover what kind of pups - all I know is they SD's and I'm guessing Seth Lovers, but I don't know for sure.

Awesome! Has a lotta balls! Love that! And, very articulate. And the weight is so perfect, I could stand all night with that.

Very nice, Slammer. Pups?

Congratulations Katy, look like a sweet guitar.

From the look of it, I'm pretty sure it came with Sdhallers which were later changed out for something else. My 150 Deluxe came with SDs and pickup rings with only one adjuster screw hole on each side.

I think you'll have to remove the pickups to see what they are.

wow Koula that's beautiful, congratulations!!

IMO anyone who calls that finish a "clownburst" is a clown themselves....that's the color those old Gibson's were originally ( cherry sunburst ) and if they hadn't screwed up the paint/dye, they would have held their color ;)

it's a sad misnomer that the internet has spawned....and of course it has negative connotations, completely unwarranted

I prefer to call it "cherry sunburst" ;)
