fxdx99 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 geez - can't keep up with all the ngds. That's a stunner! 20yr old NOS. wow - great find. Congrats!
High Flying Bird Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I could see not having to plug it into an amp. Nice one Doc.
schundog Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Mark, you operate in an entirely different league.... What a beautiful guitar! I know you'll enjoy it.
H Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 The strings don't have colored thread wrapping on them, so they are not TI's. The balls, from 1st to 6th strings, are steel, purple, green, black, red and bronze colored, in case anyone knows what they are. Beautiful guitar, Mark The coloured ball-ends would suggest D'Addario strings.
MartyGrass Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 Beautiful guitar, Mark The coloured ball-ends would suggest D'Addario strings. Correct! They are chrome FWs, probably 12s. It's surprising how bright they sound both amplified and not. I can adjust the amp of course.
