ler Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I have in my possession a Heritage H555/ALMSB Serial # y22301. It also have hand written on the tag 2 HAW pu's. Does anyone have any idea what a used one of these would sell for? The dealer is telling me they want 2000 is that about right.
Spectrum13 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 $1,300 on the low side $1750 on the high. 2K sounds about right from a retailer. Any issues would change to price.
TalismanRich Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 The pickups will be HRWs which are a Heritage specialty, and no longer available. They were an upgrade and might add an extra $50 or so over the original Schallers. I think the prices quoted above are probably in the right region. Condition will have a big bearing on the final price, of course.
ler Posted April 6, 2012 Author Posted April 6, 2012 Thanks guys! The guitar has a bigsby added as well but it is after market (not by Heritage) so the solid tail pins are still in place which is a bit of a cosmetic defect would that reduce the value?
mark555 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Are you buying a guitar that speaks to your soul or just thinking it might be worth a shot?
ler Posted April 6, 2012 Author Posted April 6, 2012 I really like this guitar... Always wanted an es-335 type guitar and this plays better than any of those I have played.
