buelahbones Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Today is a sad day for Heritage Guitars. We lost Floyd, our finish man. Floyd had been a Gibson and Heritage employee for over 50 years. Play for him tonight and look at the brillant finish he may have created for you. More will be posted as we learn from his family. May peace be with him. The Girl

eor Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 i've admired his work without knowing it for as long as i've been congnizant. old bursts, wine red and walnut are some of my favorites from the old days- i like how those age. not to mention those pretty finshes of today. huge part of why i was attracted to the gibson/heritage styled guitars, as opposed to something else. goodnight, floyd. thank you.
