Floyd was a great and talented man....he also served our country in the military. He will be missed!

I am sending flowers to the funeral home on behalf of The Heritage Owners Club....i think thats the least we can do to show our gratitude for all of his hard work he put into our guitars.

A good looking guitar always sounds better. Thank you Floyd for beautifying the art. RIP

he started in 1959, which means that some of his work is now valued at several hundred thousand dollars. what a fitting tribute.

RIP, Floyd. Your beautiful guitar finishes will live on, and you will be remembered as we admire your work.

Thanks for passing along the news, Katie.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to Floyd for giving our instruments such beauty to go with the wonderful sounds. We appreciate what you folks do at Heritage. Thanks.

RIP Floyd.

RIP, Floyd. And thank you for all that you've done.

PK, I'm certain Floyd did the GT you now own. If you look cafefully you'll see a wisp of overspray. That's how you know a real human being did it. Absolutely beautiful.

Wishes of peace to all of his family and friends.

Thanks for letting us know. Sad news. Thoughts and Prayers to his family R.I.P. The GOLD 170 will be going out for a spin this week.

Thanks Floyd for the great craftsmanship you put into each wonderful guitar.... You will surely be missed.

I wish his family the best.

Not many people have heard of this man but almost everybody on earth has seen his work.

Very sad news...

My deepest condolences to both his family and colleagues back at 225 Parsons who will miss him .

Very few people leave such a tangible body of work as atestament to their time on this Earth. Floyd's beautiful finishes for both Gibson and Heritage for over a half-Century will live on beyond his time here and continue to bring smiles to their owners for a very long time. Not many things can make you smile from just looking at them. Think about it….

My best to his family, and thanks for the fantastic work. I'm never selling my H150s, as they are works of fine art.
