i actually never heard of them until last fall i had the pleasure of having dinner with the alex skolnick trio, alex was playing a single cutaway hollow body that night, but i looked into them, and WOW,,, because i have giant hands and the old gibson necks i love, so anyways,,, i just got this from i guess a 2011, ser # starts ab,,,, h150,,, had my guy set it up for me for e flat tuning and 10's. so from what i gather, this has no pick guard or holes, has the COA, is the tobacco sunburst, ill post pics, does this have the 59 seymour dun can PU'S ? how many of these were made any idea, and can a second party warranty an un warrantied guitar? the action is high on the first few frets also, my les paul is the same, like the nut is not worn in yet, is this nut, white in color, corian? besides that this guitar totally blows me away quality wise,,,,,

25th%20%20anni%20150.jpg Nice one..! a 25th Anniversary H-150

The pickups are very, very likely SD 59s . unless the label says different. Be sure to check the label in the control cavity.

And I believe that only the original purchaser can warranty the guitar...

the color is osb, the original sunburst and guard less must have been an option, i don't see many without the pick guard, i think it shows the top off much better!

No, the 59's are potted and the Seth's are not. Nice guitar. A buddy has one that looks a lot like it.

But Heritage will service them for a modest price, correct?

I'm guessing the single cutaway hollowbody that you are referencing is an H575. If I recall, that is what he likes to play for psuedo jazz stuff. Of course, he also plays his signature H150 for metal stuff...welcome aboard! I like Skolnick because he actually sounds like he has a brain when he talks.

Welcome to the HOC and now take a deep breath... Lots of questions with so few words.... If you are looking for more detailed information, removing the cavity control cover and look on the back of the cover. You'll get more details from there. Heritage typically has their nuts cut for higher action as some people prefer it. You should take it to your tech to have the nut and action adjusted to your taste. As far as how many were made, well, here's a few from last year's Heritage event, dubbed, PSP...

Nice to meet you Paul, I'm Pete My Lab Holly is getting on in years. The kids are asking for a puppy, may have to get one soon while she can help to teach it to be a good dog. Planning on a shelter rescue.

Indeed he does have a 575 and that is the hollow he is normally seen with. Seen the 150 with the Trio too.

I have always thought that of all the guitarists from the 80's to now, he is one a very few that will be respected as a guitarist in general and not just as good for a style.

That's a beautiful guitar. Same finish as the Skolnick model. Have never met him or seen him post here, but he seems like someone I'd generally enjoy talking to.

Heritage makes great guitars and their quality is outstanding. For some reason or another, if there's going to be a complaint about a new guitar, it's often related to how the nut is cut. My guitars all have bone nuts. I'm sure that's what your is as well.

this one is pure white, and looks synthetic but who knows, you would think with the old school look and cream binding they would have gone with natural color bone,,,, idk

i would also like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, i don't see myself getting rid of this before I'm dead so ill be around for a while,,, I've played and owned a lot of guitars in my 30 years of playing, this guitar crushes all of them! my brother has a strat relic, the real deal one, like 4500 bucks, can't wait to dethrone him!
