Spectrum13 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Classic trio you got there. Must complement on the trim as you got the right knobs. Where is the love for their 137 step-sister?
Kuz Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I LOVE the speed knobs.... I am thinking of switching all four of my 150s to speed knobs. They are more functional and I think they look better..... Hummm.......
FredZepp Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 OH Yeah !! I love to check out nice guitar pics ... and those are quite nice. That is a wonderful trio shown.. It's hard to pick a favorite.

TalismanRich Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Larry, I was wondering if you still had the Vintage 47. One of these days it would be nice to compare it to my original 53 Valco/ National. RIght now I've got a microphonic tube or two, and it gets a nice ring on a few notes. Haven't nailed down which ones yet. Kuz, I might just throw the National in the trunk along with the Patriot for this summer. Its so light and small.
Kuz Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 If/when I get my next job..... a Vintage 47 might be in my future. Yes, I have heard of Vintage 47 amps. Eljay, does it sound like a tweed? How many watts? Is it making the trip to Kzoo for PSP??? (pretty please!!!)
Millennium Maestro Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 in fact, john, it is incredibly vintage, as in vintage47 amps. http://www.vintage47amps.com/files/ i bought it about 15 months ago: regards, eljay Love the dog!! He looks happy and..... neglected LOL

How many watts? Is it making the trip to Kzoo for PSP??? (pretty please!!!) sounds sorta like a tweed. 5 watts. i'll bring it to k'zoo. when i give it a zap of boost from my mxr equalizer the result is a bluesy overdrive tone that none of my pedals can touch.
