pedaltrader Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Here is a mini review I threw together to show the JOYO JF-32 Hot Plexi, it has a sound clip... Tonelaboratory.com is a "review" sister site to pedaltrader.com. I wish I had more time to do more reviews but until then, here ya go. http://tonelaboratory.blogspot.com/ I am not a great player so be kind ... just felt like this pedal deserved a write up and video even if it is a bit crappy
DetroitBlues Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I've seen your demo's, don't sell yourself short!
pedaltrader Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Sure ... maybe ... I'm open to trying to demo a Noise Gate any suggestions? Never done one before, also I never use noise gates.
DetroitBlues Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Do you have a single coil guitar? Plug that in near a fluorescent light or near a TV and you should hear some interference/noise. That should help you hear the noise before you "clamp" it.
H Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 As an example, I'm trying to tame the high noise floor of a T-Rex Twin Boost. As soon as I activate it I get white noise that I believe a noise gate should sort out easily.
pedaltrader Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Gotcha good ideas... keep up coming. No single coil guitars, all 6 are humbuckers, wow... maybe I got a problem...hehehe
