Buster Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 After years of drooling over a Heritage 150, I finally gathered the funds and pulled the trigger the other day. The guitar arrived this afternoon, and I couldn't be happier with this instrument. The guitar looks, plays, and sounds amazing. After plugging it in and giving the guitar its first strum, I heard one of the fullest, nicest tones I've ever heard from a guitar. I am still completely blown away. I can't wait to set up the guitar and do some minor adjustments. I'll be sure to post more (and better quality) pictures later. Anyway, I'm happy to join you all here on the forum.

Man, there are a lot of guitars being bought. Looks like the economy is improving, huh? (Maybe just for some of us more likely.) I always make a guitar mine with little adjustments too. I picked up a 137 the other day. I replaced the knobs and toggle switch tip raised the action a touch, gave a little relief to the rod and now I am waiting on a Badass Bridge from Ant Hill Music. Good to have you here. I suspect you may know more about us than we do about you. How long have you been lurking around here?
FredZepp Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Yeah.... a quick set-up and that one is ready to go, I'd bet.. I like that one.. I'd buy that. More pics would be excellent. That will be a photogenic one.
skydog52 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 That one is a beauty! Looks like VSB. Love that color. Have fun and play it loud.
big bob Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 I love that finish as well, welcome and HAPPY NEW GUITAR DAY!
Guest HRB853370 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Stunner! Looks very similar to the 150 that I sold to Davesnothere! And he won't sell it back either!
Buster Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 That one is a beauty! Looks like VSB. Love that color. Have fun and play it loud. Thanks! Yes it is vintage sunburst finish. It looks really great in person, and shows off the flame really well. The only "flaw" on the top is the two 1"-2" lines of dark wood grain above the bridge pickup. Doesn't bother me though.

Welcome to the HOC and what a stunning way to make your entry Sometimes those dark lines are called mineral streaks - have you got a close-up pic of that area? My 150 VSB has similar marks and lots of people on the forum like them
DetroitBlues Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Another stunning NGD on the HOC. Congrats and welcome to the HOC.
